To formalise our high standard of care, Collisons immediately sought the then new BSI Kitemark for Automotive Services (PAS 80:2005), and were in the first three garages in the country to gain this prestigious mark. This stringent standard protects you and your car at every stage and covers all aspects of our technical and service procedures. We are convinced that this guarantee should really give you confidence in our standards and commitment to quality.
Not a crew to rest on our laurels, Collison Motoring Services then joined forces with Bosch automotive for their industry leading technical equipment and training. We simultaneously adopted ATA accreditation for all our technicians and (through Bosch) the OFT approved code of practice. Most recently (2009) we have been accepted as part of the Motor Industry Code of Practice for Service and Repair, adding to the recognition of our standards within the motor industry as well as by our customers. Also in 2006 Collisons opened a car rental facility which was designed to complement our existing customer provisions and meet the growing demand for temporary vehicles for a specific purpose. Finally, our latest development is Collison Recreation, designed to put the fun back into driving and cater for a market which wants more than practicality from their transport. The foundation of this is the amazing BRP Can-Am Spyder, which we are selling, servicing, renting and enjoying from our Cowplain site.
